Is it normal for my legs to hurt whilst walking up stairs?
Ever since I can remember, I have had muscle pains after only a few seconds of exercise. Most people don't enjoy walking upstairs or uphill because they get out of breath. But for me, the muscle pains and heaviness come before I can even get out of breath. After 1 or 2 steps up I already feel this pain. I always have done since I was very young. Is this something everyone experiences when they are simply unfit but doesn't mention it or is this abnormal? I also get this pain in my arms from lifting anything heavy, and can only jog for about 10 seconds or so before stopping. I have tried going to the gym to get fitter and I also eat well but I still get these pains that stop me from getting fitter.
Could I have an undiagnosed muscle disease or am I overreacting?
