Is it normal for my rabbit to do this?

Recent discovery: even rabbits become apathetic and melancholic if kept locked in a cage with enough food to eat and water to drink,with only the company of their jailors who pretty much just stay there and watch. Only being allowed to get out for an hour or two of air during which they cannot do what they would like to. After allowing it to scuffle around the house for a while,it displayed much more sadness and apathia than it did before.Along with the typical signs of,loss of phisical strenght and stamina,loss of muscle tone,and reactivity. Detention sucks even for animals. :-(

I would help you out but the rabbit we had lasted a week. The cats found a way to make the cage fall. My cats had fine cuisine that night.

I might be late with the answer, but I think it's normal. My bunny does it too. I feel you bro, because it makes me angry most of the time. So, here's what I do.
I somehow cover my legs. You yourself said that it doesn't react when you have boots on. I know it's problematic when it's summer or so, but... it helps in my case. Trousers, socks etc

You are keeping an animal in a cage for a project. Thats cruel

Back to the rabbit issue:
It's strange cause it doesn't get like that when I wear boots.I forgot to tell you it also pisses on my feet first thing after getting out of it's cage.I guess it's some sort of signing/tracking system so it doesn't lose their tracks.I smell like rabbit piss.I can't keep on washing my feet twenty times a day.I would just let it do it's sex business with my hand if it didn't bite me as it reaches climax.
First time it did managed to actually ejaculate,it squirted some transparent nasty Jelly along with some ordinary semen and bit me on my wrist so hard it kept hurting all day long,I still got a scab.
Do they make fleshlights for rabbits?It probably wouldn't work anyway,it wouldn't recognize it as a living pulsating thing and it would just shit on it.
That's it,I don't seem able to get this conundrum solved.I even tried wrapping my wrist in cloth so it could bite down without hurting me.It didn't work.
It turned the rabbit off so it started going for my feet again.I just don't know what to do with it!
I don't wanna kill it,I don't want it to reproduce, it's my test subject,I'm stding the behavior of captive rabbits,I wanna know if it is possible for them to be happy and healthy even known they are captive and femalesless.The results are discouraging so far.It got very attached to me and actually follows me around whenever it is horny enough,I don't even need to restrain it in anyway,just pick up the pellets clean the piss out right away and make sure it doesn't eat my electric wires by taking them off it's reach.It could give himself a deadly electroshock that way.Doesn't seem to learn they are dangerous.It just keeps going for them and going for them and going for them.It's just compulsive about the wires and my feet.I gave it a disconnected wire to chew on but it wasn't interested in it,it kept going for the dangerous ones.I even discovere that it follows around the sound of a bell.I tied a little bell on a string and whenever move it around it gets immediately near it.Is it normal for rabbits to yawn?It always yawns after I pet it for a while.
I guess it gets comfortable and very relaxed around me.Sometimes I pretend I'm just a big rabbit and follow it around,trying to be one of the pack.But I must say there is competition for food.
Especially carrots and grass.
I can't stand to look at it spending the whole time inside it's cage,it's crippling for it.
I should have never got myself another pet.
If I knew a place where it could be safe I would just set it free,but there ain't such a place no more.It got used to this enviroment it probably wouldn't last a day amongst it's fellow rabbits.
They would be mean to it!

This whole running for my feet thing is getting really dangerous for it.I risk stepping on it every time!
