Is it normal for my scrotum to be so irritated?

I actually wash every other day in winter, sometimes every day, depending on what I've been doing that day. Hygiene is actually anything but an issue.

Still, in the last week, I've only been able to pursue it sporadically. I had a lot of stress with old "work colleagues" and was constantly busy. By stress I mean violence.

I remember one day that something unbelievably terrible could have happened. It didn't happen, thankfully, but I fell pretty hard with my ass into some chemistry potash.
Although nothing happened, I felt dirty and immediately afterwards I had a proper shower for the first time in a long time.

Nevertheless, my scrotum is quite red, itches and burns and I can't sit properly because it has also swollen up and hurts over the last two days.
