The age at which you're legally allowed to have sex in your state with a person of the appropriate age as according to the law.
In other words, if your partner can be arrested, you're too young to be having sex with them.

Using his thread because this is important- The age you can have sex is incorrect, you don't have sex until your married, PERIOD, end of story. Think when you have a lovely wife, wouldn't you want to give her your virginity, not some other person you don't even remember.

Youre 15, which means that you lied about your age to register for this site. The bible makes it's position regarding lying very clear. I won't hold it against you as I understand that no matter what the bible says, humans are imperfect, stupid and make poor and often irrational choices. Hence, why we needed a savior and a plan of salvation.
Don't hold others to your moral standards. Don't push them on others, rather, be a loving example. Someday, you too will need the forgiveness and understanding you seem unable to give others, as it appears from your post. No one needs your assumptions.

Well I think people should be allowed to sleep with people of the same or very similar age at any age. I'm not saying it is a good idea but I can't see how the police arresting two 13 year olds for having sex is going to improve the situation any.

I think it's ridiculous that there is a "law" on the age you can have sex, as if there are sex police busting down doors at 11PM asking to see some ID before you fuck or as if there are hoards of 15 year olds saying that on their 16th birthday the first thing there going to do is go out and get fucked legally. Hello? Rape? The whole law was created to help make rape easier to define. If a 16 year old and and an 18 year old have sex and are mutually consenting, then obviously they wouldn't turn themselves in. It's to protect any minor who is being molested by any adult.
IMO, as a child or even preteen/early teen, it is most often not possible to make a mature and informed decision about having sex. And the younger people we have having sex, the younger parents we have, the less often college is completed... You see where the pattern takes us.

I would say teenagers should wait until they're more mature to think it through so they don't regret anything. But When you start getting curious and horny and you find someone you like that wants to fool around, well, it's hard to not want to have sex. And that's now. Back in the day 12 year old girls having sex was normal. In some parts of the world it still is, but that should stay in those parts of the world.

Whatever the legal age of consent is in that particular counry + the persons own mental maturity. I know 18 year olds that I can't imagine having sex because they act like 13 year olds.
If you can go buy your own condoms, and go see the doctor by yourself about going on the pill (females only obviously) then you're one step closer to being ready. If you can't even do that then get out of the bedroom :/

The age at which all parties involved are emotionally and physically mature enough to handle a sexual relationship. For some that could be 15, for others that could be 25.
As much as it is a requirement for countries to have a legal age of consent, most of us know it isn't as black and white as that.
