Is it normal for people to move back to their home state/country?

Especially after they've lived there their whole lives or most of their lives there (or atleast a small chunk of it). I'm asking because I want to move back to my homestate one day.

If you wait too long, it won't be the same place you remember. Everywhere I've traveled, including the places I grew up, have changed so much that they are nothing like the great places I remembered, when I returned. Mostly, I was so disappointed that I never want to return again, even to visit.

Maybe just to reconcile with memories past, but actually live there? Nah. Just because, life is changing, and that place WAS a place at a point in my life, to go back there to live would be like living the past, and not living the now. if that makes sense

    I would just visit.

    Would you?

The moment I moved away from the place I was born/raised, I never stopped wanting to go back. It just felt like the life I wanted was taken away from me and I never got to experience it. Until I got to go back, I'd spend my life wondering.

I recently moved back. It's not the same life I had, I have to start life from scratch but it's just something I needed to do. After this, if I decide to live somewhere else, at least I'll know I got to get it all out of my system.

So far, I'm just happy to be home, where my heart always belonged. Life without that feeling isn't as fulfilling.

    just my personal experience.
