Is it normal for people to smell clothes of their loved ones?
Once I saw a friend (who took a crush on me) sniffing my jacket (and smiling like a creep) when she was holding it for me whilst I go to the washroom. Is it normal?

I cuddled with his sweatshirt while he was away. Had his scent. It's a comfort thing. Especially when you're attached to that person.
Sometimes the smell of man perfume reminds me of guys I like. There was this bloke I met at Hot Topic and I don't even recall how he smelled, but for some reason cologne reminds me of him. I'd buy him some but he lives friggen 2 hours from me. Blah.
Well, it may have to do with pheromone. If you are physically and/or mentally attracted to another, the scent you are subliminally attracted to may be pheromone, which are sometimes added to perfumes or colognes, and in general may be given off naturally. Some scents catch our attention and for some reason we can't seem to get enough of it. It could just be other's fragrances you enjoy the smell of from another household.
Most residents in their household cannot pick up it's scent from being there so long, but visitors can pick it up more easily do to it being more foreign to them, and this fragrance lingers on their clothes. And, as "TareBear20" said, it is also for comfort. If you enjoy being around that person, their scent may make you feel closer to them, or you can be used to their scent and are really attracted to it naturally.
