Is it normal for straight people to visit gay clubs?

Many straight people I know has visited gay clubs. Women in particular appear to like doing so. I even met some that did their bachelorette party at gay clubs. With guys it is less common, but I met quite a few that have done so as well; particularly the ones that already have one gay friend or two.

In fact, in my group of friends we were invited a few times by a gay friend of us.

So, do you think this is normal?

    I have before, with gay friends and with straight friends. I think it's not out of the ordinary.

    I couldn't care less; straight or gay. If there was a group or entertainment I wanted to see. Otherwise, unless I went with someone who is gay, I probably wouldn't choose a gay club over a straight club, mainly because I don't get much pleasure out of looking at guys, and most gay women do not appreciate admiring glances from men.

    Yeah. I even have straight guy friends who go with me. They are usually nicer and less dirty, sexually, than straight clubs. When I go to straight clubs, or non gay clubs whatever, I get male attention that I really just don't want so I go to gay clubs when I want to club.

    However, I will find the occasional, obnoxious straight guy, at a gay bar every now and again.

    Women go a lot. Men usually only go if their gay or dragged in by a group of women friends. I went to one once and slightly less than half the people there where straight women just wanting to have a good time and chill. Thing about gay people is they generally know a straight person when they see one so straight women can chill without the fear of being hit on or molested.

    Of course when I went there was a drag show going on so it may have been they just wanted to see that. Idk.

    I accidentally went to this one gay club ... for 3 years ... it takes me awhile to catch on.
