  • Am I the only one to question this story? How can a real legit teacher not spell correctly? With the years of college to become a teacher, you'd know how to spell "relly" correctly. In my books, this story is bullshit.

i know how to spell really it was just a typing error .Mr. perfect stop criticizing others for no reason or for such minor ones.

      • I'm not perfect, very far away from it actually. I just think a real legit teacher would spell with capitals, proper periods and proper vocabulary. Make a real story and I won't have to "criticize" you. Carry on.

Me and a former teacher of mine are really close. He was my favorite teacher, we were good friends, even when I was still in his class! He came to all my choir events and we became good friends.:) you shouldn't worry to much about it, just be the kids friend, maybe he needs a friend and he picked you.

personally, I would have a talk with his parents at the next parent teacher night. let them know that he is hanging around you and doing what he does, just so they know. it might save you later. then find out more about him from them and make sure they can keep from talking to him about it. he obviously trusts you and you wouldn't want to wreck that. personally I think it's a crush. the most important thing is to not give signals that you might be interested romantically. it's ok to be friends with students in the school enviroment, but take it out of that and I see problems.

ok this may like you or maybe he wants a friend as said before by others but you could get into serious trouble if rumors are spread in my old school a girl slept with one of her teachers even though she admitted to seducing him he lost his teaching licence and he is in jail now this kid may need someone to talk to and you can be that person but keep your time together short and try and convince him to join some sort of social group with people his own age this can help not only him but may save you from some time in prison

  • I have a feeling that this story wasn't submitted by a teacher but by a school janitor.

I disagree, in this day and age, you need to put a stop to the excessive lingering before you end up accused of something. Kids like to talk and gossip. If others start to feel like something is going on, they could start a rumor that cam end your career.

  • Either he likes you, or he needs friends. You need to have a serious talk with him.

  • Have a talk with him, if you think he likes you. Or maybe he has no friends, hes alone so he counts on you.

With me, it was completely normal whether the teacher was male or female and giving hugs was just as normal because that was just a part of who I was. Nobody ever gave it a second thought because it's in my nature to be extremely loving and friendly. Not one of my teachers has gotten in trouble because of m lingering to chat and spending lunch with them instead of going to the cafeteria. If anyone on here thinks I was lonely you can tell that to everyone who knew me in high school and they'll stare at you like you're crazy. I'm just a social creature and that's why I'm going to be a teacher.
