I'd say just let it grow back (push through the prickly stage) and if he has an issue with it just tell him to bugger off. Thats if he even notices. Anal hair is normal and there's no reason to make yourself miserable over it.

I've never had the same problem, I don't really get more then "peach fuzz" around that area and it's so light it's difficult to see. I'm sorry to hear your situation, but all I can say is that I've never heard of that issue where shaving makes the hair grow back darker and thicker. If it's any consolation, doing so forever may not be necessary as some guys don't really mind.

I do think it is relatively normal but I just can't do it. I did a few times and the itching is unbearable. Doesn't matter how many times I'd go over it to get all the hair, it would be itchy and sticky and all I could do was wait for the hair to grow back. I do not have this issue when waxing though.

I think it's normal. My husband's buddy shaves every part of his body even though he isn't that hairy. He only does it because he HATES hair.

If you are in a sexual relationship long enough, you start getting used to each other's bodies. Maybe if you get a relationship or a long term friends with benefits, they will be alright with you not being perfectly smooth all of the time.

It's just normal pubic hair. If you don't want it to be there, you're gonna have to keep shaving or waxing it. Not everyone gets pubic hair to the same extent or in the same places but ass hair is pretty normal and I doubt it's dark because you shaved it, it probably just feels more noticeable when it starts growing back all prickly.

That's false, in middle school I shaved both of my arms and I'm a guy, my hair is as thin as my eyebrow hair.
