Is it normal for your cat to throw up in food?

My cat has been acting really strange. Recently he throw up. Now he does throw up sometimes but usually its on this rug he seems to like. However this time he vomited in his food while eating. He keeps meowing but I am not sure how to make him better. Hes an indoor cat and he never has contact with other animals or goes outside. I haven't done anything differently than getting new bowls.

Have you ever tried any anti hairball treatments you can get at the pet stores.. Even if there is no visible hairball it sometimes helps with other vomiting problems.. But yeah if you're worried talk to your vet

Cats are known for vomiting, however, if this is strange for your cat, then a vet visit is your best.

Unless he has eaten grass, take him to the vet.
