Is it normal how i feel towards my professor?

Hello, I recently signed up for this site and need some opinions and advice. Ok, so I'm a student in college (freshman, 19yrs, female) and I took this summer program my college had offered. One of my professors in the program, lets call her Kate, was absolutely amazing. I instantly felt an attraction towards her. She is beautiful and I'm not sure how old she is exactly but I know she is middle aged (40s) She has a great personality and is absolutely adorable. I don't have any classes with her at the moment but we meet and chat together sometimes. Kate is perfect and I can't stop thinking about her. Unfortunately, she has a boyfriend who she has been dating for around 7 months. When I found out of this news my heart sank and I held back tears. I'm so in love with Kate and get reminded of her through almost anything (pleasant that is)! Is It normal I'm incredibly jealous of her boyfriend and can't stop thinking about her?? I want to be with her so badly and avoid dating others because of how much I love her. I would do anything to date her, she makes my life worth living.

    If she is half as cool as you make her out to be, then surely you are not her only student with a school boy crush on her.
    Let it go, you have no chance.
    Go find a girl who will return your affections.

      Thank you so much for your comment! I forgot to mention I'm female lol but ugh I don't know how to let her go. She is the one I want to be with forever :(
