I subconciously flirt with the guys I don't have a lot of interest in, but are interesting. When a guy comes along that I ACTUALLY like, I get nervous and shy! I need an answer..is it normal I flirt with but don't date guys I don't like as much, but then don't flirt with guys I really, really, really like? Why am I getting shy????
Maybe its because with the guys you flirt with you aren't interested in dating them so rejection isn't a big deal there. However, those that you do want a relationship with, rejection matters to you so your body doesn't flirt cause you don't want to get rejected. Does that make sense?
It may be because you want this guy to like YOU because you really like HIM. It also may be because you have something your self conscious about maybe? Either way maybe you could ease your way into talking and getting to know him and him getting to know you? Maybe see what he is like that way. Hope this helps.
