Is it normal i bring home my date for the night?

I so don't want to ask my roommates about this because I think my personal life is none of their business. They were not my friends before I lived with them and we are not what I consider friends now. They are just people I live with. So is it okay for me to bring my date home to stay the night without telling them first?
