I don´t know if I am so stupid but I cannot find out how to thumb down a comment. I can thumb it up (green, then saving, adding a number) but what should I do if I want to thumb a comment down? Should there be another place in the comment field or should I do it in the same place where the thumb up symbol appears and how to change it into "down"?
You have to earn the "Thumb down" feature. I'm guessing you are a new user? You have to participate in a positive manner before you can thumb down comments. It's a new rule, it was established, about three months ago.
When I first got here, I had the ability to thumb down comments. Then they took it from me after the new rule was set in place. It took me a month or so to get it back. Just keep making positive comments and thumb up good comments when you see them. That's the best advice I can give you. :)
Edit: When you do get the ability to thumb down a comment; a thumb pointing down will appear to the right of the 'thumb up' icon.

But all I am is intentionally facetious, sarcastic, droll with a dry and black sense of humour...
Damn it. I should start being a positive and helpful member around here.
