Is it normal i'd rather go to the cinema than watch movies at home?

Of course, the ideal would be to go out to the cinema with friends.

However, if I had a choice between staying at home, watching a movie with a bunch of friends, or going to the cinema alone, I'd pick the cinema every time.

Am I normal to want to do this?

    I liked going a lot more when it was time to share with friends or on dates, but now, it's not that big of a deal. I think I'd rather watch them at home where I have the ability to pause, rewind, and turn on subitles.

    I'd rather watch them at home alone. You never know when a certain scene might get you going and you may want to pull one off in peace.

    It's normal. I actually like to do the same. I call it my "ME" time.
