Is it normal i'd rather stay at home on pc than go out?

Not just some of the time, all of the time, like I don't want to go to parties or meet friends, just sit and read fanfiction and webpages like this... I get less than 5 hours sleep most nights cause I spend so long on internet.

Humans are a waste of time, just ignore them. Computers are much better friends.

I have friends, but I resent spending time with them if it's not what I want to do. I don't like the sun as I hate being too hot, but I also refuse not to wear long sleeved tops. I think part of it is whenever I do go out, I always get bored or my friends do something stupid and immature, which makes me think I might as well be at home since I'm not happy here.

I am exactly like you! This might not be the healthiest lifestyle though. My advise is to start goin out little by little and going to bed earlier. It will be hard at first, but you'll be glad you did it. But if you are truly happy, then keep doing what you're doing.

Normal. I do this often. I'll toss 12+ hours easily on my laptop on off days. Not everyone is suited to be in the "go out" crowd. Try to be where you feel comfortable at.

Some people find being online easier. Think of all the negatives of online then think of em' for real life.. Pretty evenly matched mate..

I did this when i first got my laptop. I was in hibernation for about 2 months. The only real upside to this was that I was able to save up alot of money because I wasn't spending it on impulse anymore. But you should get out every once and awhile because I'm sure your true friends actually miss you being around.

While yes, it's normal, it certainly isn't particularly healthy. But, that doesn't seem to stop me.

I believe part of it, for myself at least, is that people can disappoint you, while the internet is more or less a constant.

The same EXACT thing happened to me, I graduated High School earlier than all of my friends and I couldn't start working yet so there wasn't really anything for me to do BUT the computer, then I got hooked on Fanfiction, (still am) and then it just spiraled out of control. Until one day I was like 15 pounds heavier and pretty much anti-social. So I got an eliptical, enrolled in college when I was able to and bippity boop, I'm back in shape, very social again, and still go on Fanfiction but am able to juggle it all pretty well. So it's not abnormal or weird, it happens to a lot of people. Just make sure you don't get as unhealthy as I did. It took a lot of work to lose th excess weight.
