Old people to me have always been condescending to me, at least in my opinion. In my opinion, most old people I have met are rude and crotchety and feel like the world owes them something. I feel like, because I feel this way, I feel even worse becaus I feel afraid to be old where I feel like I might become like the old people I dislike and I don't want to hurt people like I feel I'm hurt by old people hurting society. is it normal right?

    yes it is normal, in old peoples day there was the "respect your elders" thing. So now that they are older than everyone they naturally think they are better than everyone, and so they are also naturally condescending to younger people.
