I think you are taking it too far for your own good. You know why you have the tattoo. It resembles your pain; some way of coping or grieving or whatever. But that doesn't mean you take it so literally and choose not to cry anymore. Crying isn't even a sign of weakness.

My only advice to you is to not go into gang territory. A lot of gang members get tear tattoos as a sign that they've killed someone.

Contrary to what you believe or society says, there's absolutely nothing wrong with crying. It does not show weakness and can be healthy at times. Having that tattoo is not some magic amulet against a cruse, it has zero ability to contain your tears. If something is going to contain your emotions it should only be yourself not some imagery. You are taking this too far and it's coming off to me that you are unrealistic. Sure, there's nothing wrong with finding comfort in something symbolic but you can't expect it to help run your life for you and blind you from what is real.
