Is it normal i dream about my best friend?

I always seem to have reoccurring dreams about my best friend. She is in all my dreams, even the ones which are a bit weird? I don't know why? I don't think about her at night, nor do I talk to her. It's always the same though. She is wearing the same outfit and says the same thing. I've never seen that outfit before, she doesn't own it.
Is it normal? I think it's pretty freaky.
