Is it normal i find the scent of my dogs comforting?

i find the smell of my dogs very comforting. i love the smell of them- they smell so so good. i even take their blankets and use them. right now i have their blanket on me and it smells so comforting. is this normal

    I have horses, and I LOVE the smell of them right after I have gone for a long ride. It's the best smell in the world. I think it's probably a similar kind of thing.

    I don't steal my dog's blanket because it's full of fur and dirt from his paws, but I do find his smell incredibly comforting. You're not alone.

    comforting, sure. but the blanket thing is just.... well.... yeah I dont know.... dirty
