When people respond to a story with "this isnt an advice site its to find out if somethings normal" it pisses me right off. The site belongs to everyone, each story is moderated, dont be so lame about things. I get their point a bit its just so lame.
If this site were not meant for advice, then why are we allowed to submit mini-novel comments, like the ones I write? I would've deleted this app if all you could do was hit a button & write, " that's normal/not normal". Boring.
Everyone is entitled to have an opinion, purist or not. I am not a 'purist' but like you said, this website is for everyone, even the purists, lol
I love to give advice! i always like putting what i know to good use, even if I cant do it myself. As they say "Those who cant do, teach!"
I agree that it is lame when people say "this isn't an advice site" I think that they should just mind their own business.
of course people can give advice otherwise why would the management put a comments section on here? dont worry about those whingers because they are the people who also give advice so they are all just hypocrites.
i think it's both. people ask for advice here, as well as seeing how others percieve their situation.
Yeah... it can be a little mean but I see the point too but I like to give advice to people and hear other people's experiences, sometimes it makes me feel a little less weird about my own experiences and stuff lol
There's room for everyone though, I think! :D
