Is it normal i got lost at work?

I'm a delivery driver. Was coming back from a delivery in a rural area not too far from where I grew up. I missed a turn without noticing, eventually realized that the road I was on didn't look right, turned towards what I thought was the highway, didn't find it, turned again, and proceeded to get lost for about 45 minutes. Normal?

    Your post reminded me of movie wrong turn.
    On a serious note, it's not a big deal. It happens to almost everyone. If this happens a lot, use Google maps.

    Get a GPS. Cheaper than loosing your job.

    I got lost on foot trying to return from an errand I needed to go on during my lunch break at work. When I first started working there the area was confusing. Now with GPS, I guess it's less likely to happen, but it still can!
