Hi, 19 year old f, for some reason I've always really hated materialistic people. I CANT STAND when guys talk about cars, or money, or gucci, tommy hilfiger, calvin klein, ANY EXPENSIVE BRANDS, "ice", gold, any jewelry, and especially people who think the opposite gender is hotter because they drive an Audi or some other stupid as shit thing. It literally makes me want to pull my hair out and scream. I couldn't care less what people enjoy or whatever they do, but for some reason this really pisses me off. Whenever my ex would say "dammmmmmmmmnnn thats a sexy ass car!" or talk about money or the necklaces he wore I wanted to stick my hand in a blender. Does anybody feel the same?

    They are the pretend rich. Really rich people tend to live like poor people.

    Girl, don't stick your hand in a blender! I think your distaste for materialistic people is being extra triggered, because of your ex-boyfriend. Try to chill out, and not let that fool take up so much rent free space in your head.

    Maybe some positive affirmations would help?

      aha, yeah probably. I get really mad. But I know a part of me unfortunately or fortunately is like that forever because I felt the same way before I dated him

    I like expensive food and I certainly enjoy all the merchandise and quality of life gadgets and appliciances I have.
