Is it normal i hate talking on the phone?

I hate phone calls, voicemail, and returning calls. I find email, snail mail, Facebook, and texting to be pleasant and enjoyable. But phone calls drive me crazy!!! And I feel so exhausted after them. It's like I don't have time to process and think about what is going on. Am I alone? I feel so bad because sometimes I don't return phone calls from family and friends but instead choose to text them back.

I agree. I only use my cell maybe, no lie, 5 times/month, total 20 mins. I hate hen people call just to say, "Hi" then keep you on the phone for an hour and a half with some mundane bullshit. George Carlin did a bit on phone call etiquette--pretty funny. I hate texting, too, which is why I ignore the messages and the calls by turning off the phone, period. I guess most of this is due to me being super busy and also getting away from very drama prone needy people that have fucked up my world so now I cut them off. They apparently find new people to bug.

I'm right with you on that one. I gesticulate when I talk a lot, which I think is most of the reason why. Maybe you do the same?

I don't mind talking on the phone if I'm taking a dump, I have nothing else to do then.

I wish you were capable of comprehending the actual definition of racism. Google it. Shit.
