Title says it all. All these other people I see pretty much know what jobs they want and what what fields they want to go into etc, and me, I got no idea whatsoever as to what I'm going to be doing after college.
Live in the present, but don't live in the future or in the past. Well that's what my friend always says and I tend to agree with him. If you live too far in the future, you'll miss the things that are going on NOW. Have goals and aspirations yes, BUT make them flexible. Do what you want to do and allow as much time as you need so it's comfortable for you. Don't rush it, and enjoy your life.
Now if only I could follow my own advice, hahaha.
Yeah me too. Im just living moment by moment but one day I'll know. But it may be better if that one day was never. More freedom ya know?
Dude, I'm 22 and after switching career paths a bunch (including switching colleges three times including the one I'm in now) and blurry breaks in between, I've JUST figured out what I want to do. And honestly? Its still scary because Im always afraid I'm going to want to do something else! Its like career a.d.d or something D: don't worry, you are not alone for sure. Look at it this way: you're trying to choose what you want to do for the rest of your life! (Or until retirement lol) its a very tough job but also amazing and super important. You can choose ANYTHING! So take your time...you"ll be the one whose happy in a couple years instead of your friends who rushed and are maybe stuck in a career they hate for forever. (F that) kk done being a guidance counselor or something xD
It's common but you need to find out what you were made to do in this life.
Everything becomes so much easier once you figure that out.
i have no idea wat to do with my life honestly. um and i am in highskewl and i dont even know if im going to finish and i dnt even have anything planned if i drop out..so yeah i think im pretty hopeless right now so yeah i dnt even think i want to go to college if i go to high skewl and i dnt even know wat i want to do with the rest of my life :/
I really don't know what I'm going to major in, and I'm in college. It sounds dumb to plan out your future now- unless you're graduating high school. Things won't always work out.
fuck im 22 been studying at the community college for 3 years and i have no clue what to do with my life. I just dont no.............. it sucks.
