Is it normal i laugh if the room i'm in is dead silent?

Like today, I was at my school office with 10 outher people and it was dead silent, it was like that for like 5 minutes, then, I just was randomly laughing, like, I couldn't stop laughing, i've been doing this for the longest time...IIN?
