When I got back, the one user I can't stand left?
Then I discovered he's still here, sigh.
Is this normal? Serious question.
I hate these posts. People should know by now that the only interesting part about these types of posts is if we find out who the person the post is about, which we never get told.
The user I hate is still here as well. All I can do is to thumb her down.
You didn't honestly believe you would like everyone on this site, did you?
Maybe that user (or the sight in general) were equally disappointed by your return?!?!
Well you have two options now. You can either avoid this user or you can just leave again. I would suggest sticking around and not letting the troll ruin your fun time here though.

Uhh, editing to answer your question, no, I don't think it's normal. It's a website and you can choose whether or not to read whose comments.
The internet is full of dicks, no matter where you go but I feel the good far, far outweigh the bad on IIN,
There's even a few assholes I like and a couple of people I didn't like who I've changed my mind about, just ignore him/her and try and focus on finding people or answers you do like, or in time you can usually see more behind even the biggest trolls.
If you dislike some particular person just ignore him. Or vote down his posts...
I actually find everyone interesting no matter how stupid/weird/ridiculous they are.
If someone tells me off or makes fun of me I just give it back to them, its not real life so you can go crazy with sarcasm.
Anyway don't leave just because of one individual .

I don't have strong feelings about anyone on this site, but I guess I'm pretty new.. I can't relate.
Keep your chin up. Don't let the creeps get you down. If you give in and leave for good, it'll mean they have won.
Don't let some random online user dictate your life. You're probably quite young (below 25) and think this is really important, but it's not. There are assholes everywhere, you just have to deal with it. And putting people on an ignore list is a very valid method of dealing.
