If it's on an analytical level, its fine. I do it myself to understand their psychology. If it's out of admiration, then it's abnormal.

Yes, it's normal. I'm like you too.
I like to watch and read about serial killers.
    Nothing strange at all.

If it was 'strange' to be interested in serial killers,
then why would their be channels like I.D. or Bio?
Or all those shows/interviews about them?

  • Yes its interesting in a dark way. I have the same curiosity. Only ignorant people think that its wrong to learn about certain things because they're bad

I'd think it's normal based on the fact that the books and shows sell.

I'm currently reading The Stranger Beside Me. Ann Rule knew Ted Bundy personally but had no idea he was a sociopath. Many people who knew him liked him, he was attractive and seemingly nice. What he did was terrible, I'm just amazed at how seemingly normal his life was.

There was a movie about him that I saw as a kid, never forgot some of the brutal scenes-certainly a wake up call to anyone who is too trusting of others.

i read about them too, i find their minds and how they work kind of interesting, it brings up interesting topics, are monsters made, or are monsters born? Are we all born with the potential to become serial killers, and are essentially ticking time bombs, or are serial killers a whole separate breed of person?
Ultimately, as long as you don't idolize them, or are trying to get pointers on how not to get caught if you go on a killing spree, i think you're normal.

Normal. As others have said, if it wasn't normal then why would there be so many TV shows, movies, books, documentaries, etc. about it?

(For the record, I enjoy learning about serial killers too!)

  • My ex boyfriend liked to do that, too. He wasn't normal.

A guy, that I dated, I don't know what we are... is going to become a cop, and study serial killers.

Jesus, I really know how to pick 'em!

I don't know whether or not it's normal. I want to say no, because they aren't really normal... at least, I don't think so... they're weird... kjldfgjkldfklgjkldfgjdfklg
