Is it normal i'm being judged for my name?

I have done my best to be a devout member of my church. But I felt like they've always looked down on me because of my name. My name happens to be Charles Darwin. Because of that they never trust me. Just because I have the name of the wicked first scientist doesn't mean I believe in science! I've done everything I can to show I don't believe what the atheists tell us about the start of the world. I've participated in all our book burnings and helped with all our campaigns to warn everyone who the atheists living in our community are and helped them avoid getting kidnapped by the atheists to be sacrificed to Lucifer. But my church still doesn't trust me! I've done everything I can to stop science and atheism spreading in our society. Whenever I think someone might not be a Christian I always let the church know so they can deal with it. But still alot of the members accuse me of believing in science or even being sent by Lucifer to spread science! How can I proof to the rest of the church I hate science just as much as they do?

      Hahaha! My grin changed to vocal laughter when he/she said "evil first scientist." 'Cause Charles Darwin is older than Copernicus, DaVinci, Galileo, etc...then it devolved from there.

      Sad thing is, I've heard so many people come really close to actually believing like this..

        Thank you, by the way. I've been lurking around for a while so I've obviously seen your posts. I'm stunned by how many open-minded, intelligent, creative thinkers are on IIN at the moment. It seems like a little haven and I've very glad to be back, the way things are at the moment.

    I'think your fellow belivers are stupid for judgging you for your name. thow I'm a Darwin fan:D (and I personaly be proud to have the same surname as him) if it's such a problem, you could legaly change it.

    PS: science is not something you "belive in", but something you accept and understand using your logic. you can not agree on all of it's theorys (eg. I don't agree on the "ice age to have wiped out the dinosaus" theory, instead i agree on the "meteorite impact" one).

    I hope your trolling. Name wise, I feel a bit bad for you. My first name used to be a guys name, but in modern times it's considered to be unisex. I've been treating with mixed reactions from different people. Some like it and some have teased me about it. If your so pissed off about it, why don't you get a name change?!

    If it wasn't for science, we wouldn't have the benefits of things like medication, electricity, technology etc. Do you take medication? Do you live in a house that uses electricity? Do you drive a car? Of course you do. If you hate science that much, stop being a hypocrite and go and live like a caveman.
