Well, I have a major crush on one of my professors. I'm 22 years old, have had a bf for 2 years and feel I'm too old for this. He's not attractive in a physical sense but I really enjoy his personality and English accent. Is my crush normal? I feel like a tard. Someone talk some sense into me.

    Don't do anything to get him in trouble. If anything I suggest waiting till you've finished his course and then proceed to ask him out.

    Absolutely NORMAL. I've had a boyfriend for a year now, and I still think my psychology teacher is GORGEOUS. It's nice to have some eye candy during long, boring lessons.

      Exactly! He teaches mycology (fungus) so it's nice to have something pretty to look at instead of all the mold and crap on the slides.

    He may be exotic to you, with the english accent. That alone may have charmed you into loving how he talks and teaches.

    How much older is he than you, how do you think he feels about you, what is going on with your boyfriend that you are with?

      He's probably 20-25 years older than me. I don't think he even notices me and my bf is in Korea for 4 more months.

        He can get into trouble. Even if you are of age, it's still inappropriate and possibly illegal as he is an authority figure.

        Holy crap. Like, I'm in the exact same situation right now. I've had a boyfriend for just under 2 years, I'm 20, I'm in uni and I have this crush on one of my tutors, who is around late 30s early 40s. *___*

        To be honest though, I've always had this thing for teachers. My tutor has loads of things in common with me too and it makes me feel awkward. I'm a really shy girl so I just try and avoid him and not talk to him. >.<

        I'm not sure if it's normal or not but I'm in the same boat here.
