It's for if history gets censored in the future or otherwise lost. I'm writing down IMPORTANT current events like the election, ACA, loss of freedom, etc. I'm also writing down my idealogy and beliefs.
Those are things other people keep records of as well. You should perhaps write down your personal things or things you've learned. There's a lower chance someone would pop up with the same thing you write, unlike what you're currently writing.
i think its great,its therapeutic ,maybe you'll be a famous dead writer someday,you can laugh at it when you'd old or months later keep it up!
I'm pretty sure future archeologist wouldn't want that. But the will find things like cars or tools or shit like that that will probably interest them.
That's awesome. I keep a journal about my life...my family, friends, interests and what I like to do. Or just what I'm feeling at the moment. I can see me reading it someday years upon years from now..haha
YES. I did this when I was a kid. I loved reading historical diaries, so I wanted somebody to read mine. I lied a lot to make myself look better though (what? I was like 6).
SWEET. Make sure you keep a damn good record! Details, details! History is being re-written all of the time in the US... you know they wanted to remove slavery from the history books? Because they thought it was racist?
