Is it normal I'm more depressed over my father in laws death than his daughter?

My sister in law cried the first day and that was it. It's been two weeks now and she is going out with friends 24/7 and doesn't seem upset. Laughs, smiles, no cries. This is her father... Me? I've been crying nonstop... I couldn't go out partying with friends or laugh like it's nothing

    People process Grief in different ways and some people may be more easily effected by it than others, or react in very different ways.

    Your sister in law is probably still grieving and processing the situation in her own way, even if she doesen't show it.
