Is it normal i'm not a good test taker

Back in November I took an ASE test. I checked MyASE this morning it said I failed it. This was my 4th time taking the brakes test. It's not that I don't know the material, it's just weird because I keep studying and I can't seem to pass. Does this mean I need to get a good amount of work experience because the closest I've gotten on some of the tests were when I've had some experience with that part of the car in the tests. Any advice would be appreciated as well. So is not passing tests normal?

I'm the same way, I can know the material backwards and still do terribly on a test. My advice is to be chill about it-which I know is incredibly hard-and keep positive! When you think you're going to do bad you probably will, I'm not saying to be cocky just have faith in the fact that you know what you're being tested over.

Neither am I. I hate taking tests but you have no other choice. I try to keep a positive attitude when taking one.

Turn some wrenches before you take another crack at 'er sport.
