Sure dogs are amazing and I have nothing wrong with owners showing affection towards their dog but I think kissing it on its mouth is going too far. It's unhygienic, the dog has probably been licking his balls or smelling around other dogs urine in grass.
Is it normal I find this cringeworthy?
It is dangerous. Ever notice how dogs need worming tablets but humans do not take worming tablets? This is because dogs will eat uncooked meat + rodents they come across, the kind of meat that can have parasites throughout it.
Hence these humans should probably start taking worming medication if they are kissing their dog on the mouth. However not all parasites are cured by this, they will likely gather quite a few parasitic worms throughout their system which could take years off their life and seriously harm their quality of life.
It is actually quite dangerous to kiss a dog. Pets are fine but people need to practice some basic hygiene.

People are nasty creatures and the guy in line in front of you could have scratched his dirty, bare ass crack just seconds before walking into the store. You touch the door handle right after his stank fingers do, you then rub your eye or some shit. Ta da! Strange man as crack funk all up on your eye!!!! Now its infected and oozing. Great. Not to mention that his dirty cash, which he folded thrice and used to clean under his butt crevice scratchin fingernails, is now in your hands as part of your change. Now its in your pocket or wallet. You're just a festering germ transporter.

Yes it is normal. Dogs do all kinds of things with there mouths such as. Licking there dog balls (lol) and Eating shit off the ground. And yes its very unhealthy to have dogs do this to you because the leftover bacteria is still on there toung so one you kiss your dog and it kisses you back you have dog shit and dog ball taste all over your lips. And OMG I hate it when people let there dogs lick the inside of there mouths like WTF GERMS!!!!
I saw on a show called "Is it me or the dog" And the dog expert lady said everytime a dog swallows their mouth becomes clean. might not be true idk.
