I miss him so much :( every time I think about him I cry :( he ran away 6 months ago I let him outside and he never came back ! I didn't know it was the last time I would see him I ignored him that day coz I was busy and I feel bad about it, I'll never know what happened to him. If someone ran him over or if he was in pain or if he is in pain somewhere and he needs my help and I can't find him or maybe he is happy and still alive and living with a new family who loves him :( I'll never ever know !!! Is it normal to be this sad and think about this all the time even tho it's been ages since he left ?

    Yes, it's normal. It means you care. My cat was run over almost 10 years ago and I still miss her. It does get easier with time.

    I'm so sorry. I feel your pain. My first cat ran away when I moved, & it took me months to get over it. I was devestated! We get attached to our pets...totally normal.

    I totally understand how you feel. I remember when the shelter cat I rescued for my 11th birthday ran away. He and I were very attached to each other. I was very sad and cried when my mom told me he was gone. It's been almost 10 years since then and I still think about him and miss him. I loved him so much.

    Aww, there's nothing worse. My family once lost a dog for about three hours. Even that was absolutely terrible, so I completely understand how upset you are.
