Is it normal i never seem to finish my coffee before it's cold?

When I'm at work is about the only time I regularly have a cup of coffee (in the morning, essentially to wake myself up). I use a regular sized mug, but I never finish it before it goes cold. I get busy doing other things, like working, and before I know it, there's a half-inch of grody cold coffee in the bottom and I can't drink that. It happens every time! Tell me I'm not the only one out there who does this.

    This is why I only pour half a cup at a time. When it starts to get cold, I freshen it with a splash of hot coffee and continue to enjoy.

    Put a coaster or something on top of the cup to keep the hear in, or use a travel cup.

    Keep it 'tween yo legs. Keeps mine warm just a bit longer. My groin don't mind it either.

    I always finish my cup of tea or coffee.

    It pisses me off when I make somebody else a cup and they don't finish it. It's like... an insult. A deeply hurtful rejection. It's like somebody saying, "I'm so uninterested in this hot beverage you've gone to the effort of preparing for me, that I'm going to ignore it until it is so cold it's undrinkable. FUCK YOU!" You're so cruel :*(

    You should try those Starbucks frapp things that are supposed to be served chilled. They're at the grocery store and come in glass bottles. They taste amazing. Unless you prefer your coffee hot.

        What about iced coffee? Or iced lattes? You don't like? I love! Or if my hot coffee gets cold I microwave it. I drink too much coffee...

    Microwaves reheats lukewarm coffee in about 30secs.

    Pretty normal.. But should not happen too often.. That just proves you must be too busy, i like my coffee hot.

    Dude me too! I drink a whollle lot of coffee, its not very normal. But that happens to me a lot. I just gulp it down or put ice in it. :]

    This happens to me allot often times before I'm able to get half way and if it's not that then the coffee tastes like a cup of crap:/ Why don't you drink out of a espresso cup? The portion is smaller than the typical coffee mug, but it doesn't take too long to Finish the drink. If you manage to brew your coffee at the right temperature, the heat should stay for awhile.
