Is it normal for me to idolize popular people at my school? I also like think they are insanely beautiful girls (I'm a girl, but I'm straight). They all seem so perfect!! So is this normal?

    its normal, but its not necessarily a good thing. Its normal to see cool people as celebrities in high school but don't forget that at the end of the day they are regular people like you, they don't require any special treatment.

    I don't know how normal it is, but I certainly think it's unhealthy, and bad for your self esteem to obsess over these "popular kids". In my not so humble opinion what you're doing is not unlike putting other people on pedestals.
