OP, have you met any blind people? It's kinda refreshing to see that you've at least put some thought into seeing what it would be like, using the cane and all. As for the dark glasses, that' sup to you. I don't wear glasses, but I do have this blank gaze, where I just stare straight ahead, and hope someone comes up and asks if I need help. At least I do that when I'm lost, or at the grocery store.
Take care.
Oh yes, the blank gaze. It can be difficult to make it seem like you are looking at nothing (hard not to focus on anything). But less likely to bump into things. I think I might try the glasses, but is it disrespectful or racist or something to do this in public? I don't know any blind people to ask.
Being blind myself, I would probably not encourage you to do this in a major grocery store, but you could probably get away with it at your local convenience store. You could probably practice around your neighborhood as well. Just make sure you can get back home. I can tell you that it would not be racist, as blind people are not a race. I can give you some tips on using the cane in an effective way if you like.
I used to pretend I was deaf so I didn't have to speak to my babysitter...so I'm going to say normal
Not sure. Try wearing realy dark sunglassses and go to the store! See if you get extra attention.
I guess your practicing if you do become blind one day lmfaooooo. That helps
