Is it normal i rub my hands and face when excited?

Is it normal that whenever I get very happy or excited I either (or I do all) rub my hands together, I rub my face, and scratch the top fo my head? I get this clenchy feeling and I feel the need to stiffen up. I'll even sometimes bring my hands together and I'll wiggle my fingers.. all of this wile I stiffen up my face and/or my arms/ shoulders.
