Is it normal i still like spongebob?

While the newer episodes tend to have a bad reputation, I still like Spongebob regardless if it's season 1-3, or even 4-9 (I'll be liking the 10th season to come out too). I believe that the newer ones can be decent or even as good as the old ones. I'm not saying they're better though. I'll always love Spongebob Squarepants. No matter what. Every season has their share of good and bad episodes. To me, there isn't neccessarily a "Old" and "New" devide of Spongebob. IIN?

    I have a giant, thick plastic box set of the first 100 episodes of SpongeBob. That set me back about 80 bucks in Highschool. I'm 23 now and I still watch those DVD's. I'll never be too old for SpongeBob. :D

    Plankton is adorable.

    Did ya know that this Spongebob creation has netted BILLIONS of dollars in revenue. If I had brought this up as a potential business creation at the Wharton School of Business, it would have been shot down from day one.

    There is no formula. None. Spongebob rules. He's also clearly insane! The writing is clever. Theme song? Loopy sticky. Loads of life lessons can be learned from Spongebob.

    I like Spongebob. It's the perfect show for adults. I've seen some of the newer ones and they were pretty good. I wonder how the Team is still able to come up with good ideas after all of this time.

    I still like SpongeBob as well. It's still one of my favorite cartoons. My favorite episodes are mostly the earlier episodes(I believe some of the post movie SpongeBob episodes are poorly written) though SpongeBob has gotten better in season 9 and I do have at least one favorite from each season.
    On an unrelated note, I remember when I was teen I used to obsess with shipping SpongeBob and Sandy. I still think they'd look cute together.

      Best episode is when they go to the island above water and it turns into live action, and the Krusty crab pizza one, oh and the one where they discover swear words, so many great episodes

        Yeah. Pressure, Pizza Delivery, and Sailor Mouth were great episodes. :) SpongeBob is one of those shows I'll never ever hate.

            So many of the SpongeBob songs are catchy. The songs from Ripped Pants, I Had An Accident, It's A SpongeBob Christmas, Sing A Song Of Patrick, Fun, and Christmas Who are addicting to sing.

            Chocolate With Nuts is also a favorite of mine. The scene with the old lady in it sill makes me laugh to this day:

            "Chocolate. I remember when they first invented chocolate. Sweet, sweet chocolate. I ALWAYS HATED IT!"

              Haha yeah I love the ripped pants song, the campfire song too :)

              Oh also just the scene of plankton trying to play harmonica, isn't that in the pilot? I only remember the pilot from the " this is my lab" " this is my laboratory " scene, I always loved that XD

              Its been too long, this whole conversation has made me want to watch it, think it's all on Netflix, I'm going through the whole lot :D
