I don't have a phone. So I use my iPod touch to text. Just my friends though, not really guys. lately I've been feeling very insecure because my friends don't text me that much. if I text them they always answer, but they don't start conversations that much. I see most of them I talk to everyday. I was just wondering is it normal my friends and I don't text that much considering we see each other everyday? I don't know, I feel texting is useless most of the time.

    There is a testing app people so you can text people when you have w.I.f.I. Andthey give you your own number and it's free it's called text now

    For those who don't know how to text on an iPod touch, there are a load of texting apps for the iPod touch. It uses Internet connectivity to deliver text messages and uses a Voice Over IP number, not a cellular. Just search for "text messaging" in the app store.

    yea its normal but how do you text on an iPod??? dont't you mean iPhone?
    I don't think it's possible to use an iPhone Touch as a real phone? To what phonenumber do people text you on your ipod? Your podnumber?
