Is it normal i think jesus was a ass?

Christians are always ranting Jesus was so fucking great. They can't shut up about it. Many non-Christians also say things like: "well, he may not have been devine, but he was still a nice guy" or crap like that. Personally, I think he was a fucking cocksucker, because he said shit like:

- If any man come to me, and HATE not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:26.

- I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. Matthew 10:35-36.

- He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Matthew 10:37.

Doesn't really sound like "peace on earth" eh? Of course there are all sorts of loopholes christ-adoring idiots use to justify the unjustifiable, but oh well.

I understand the point the op is making. However since you come off as such a prejudice asshole rather hard to listen to anything you are writing.

I think that you have a big problem to be that much disturbed with people who love Jesus.

Keep in mind that the Bible is translated from Hebrew and that not all Hebrew words directly correlate to those in English.

Though the Christian faith does, however, teach that one should love God more than any other living being because according to beliefs, He is the one who creates life and such.

"Keep in mind that the Bible is translated from Hebrew and that not all Hebrew words directly correlate to those in English."

Actually, only the Old Testament was translated PREDOMINANTLY from Hebrew (there are little bits of Aramaic as well in the OT). The New Testament was COMPLETELY translated from Greek.

And the fact not everything was translated correctly, mostly doesn't matter much. When the English text says something about Jesus telling people to HATE, he most likely didn't mean being all cudly 'n shit. I don't think the translators fucked up THAT bad.

Besides, why didn't God make sure His all-important message came across perfectly?

Well, such is life. Faith wasn't made to be easy. In order to have faith, there is some work involved. Some people are so dedicated that they learn the original languages of the Bible in order to be able to interpret it their own way. If you really want to do that, I think it'd be a very worthwhile effort.

And you are correct about the Bible including Aramaic and Greek, my mistake for forgetting to include them in my comment.

Wait. Which Jesus are we talking about? That Mexican one who works in the coffee shop really is a nice guy. And he never says things like "set a man at variance".

He just says, "In my country, you'd be called Zucuritas or Tigre Toño and people are scared of you because you're portrayed with heavy emphasis on feline menace".

Read a book called 'jesus lived in india' and then come back if you still think he was a dick, I personally think he was a chiller hanging out with buddhist monks and that.

"a ass?" If this is a troll post, then hats off to you. If it isn't, then I'm going to give you one piece of advice: Chill out. You're not going to get anyone's respect by swearing at their beliefs.
