Is it normal i think the internet isn't kept anywhere

okay sometimes i think that because the internet can be gotten anywhere and websites can too, that i think the internet isn't physical at all

but i think it's either kept in a big black box somewhere with millions of wires in to carry the internet signals or it doesn't even really exist or that a bit of each website is saved in each computer is it normal to think this

    How did it take you this long to realize what the internet was? Can any of us pick up the chat room and just run outside with it? It is a stream of data. It exists but it is not something you can hold, touch, feel. This is fact.

    You're right to think that way. The internet isn't a thing, as in one singular thing, it's a network of shared data, from pc to pc
