Is it normal i think there's something wrong with my face?

So a couple of days ago I woke up and the skin from my nose to my under-eyes to my eyelids and forehead were extremely dry. I tried using moisturizer and aloe vera thinking it was just dry skin but it started burning and stinging, going super red and puffing up. I thought nothing of it until I had a shower today and the water that washed over it caused those places to burn, badly. Not sure if this is dry skin or what the hell is going on but it would be nice to have some input.

Use some cum, it has many ingredients that will stop the aging

  • What you used on your face like the aloe is that something you usually use? My face is probably most sensitive place when it comes to product. Sometimes my face gets red puffy and burns when I put some stuff on. Unscented cetaphil even did it to me. While other times it may not seem to effect me.

Or could it be like a light sun burn? Showers would sting and touching to put stuff on too. Those are my only ideas.

I can't stand Cetaphil, it burns my skin, and I started getting big blackheads when I tried using that garbage. I swear by Purity Made Simple by Philosophy, and I'm really loving the Deep Cleansing Oil by DHC.

      • Same except it didn’t cause any acne for me. Thing is I thought it was some unscented, fancy, hypoallergenic stuff you’d never think to see a problem with. Little did I know.

I’m definitely going to look into that stuff. Charli told me about some burts bees night cream and I ended up loving it best I’ve found to work so fast and not leave a problem. Tho it being night cream I feel like sometimes it makes my face sweat. Probably cause I use it every morning. Totally down to find some new things to try. Not long ago I picked up some Naked Bee facial cleansing gel mainly cause I love the smell of naked bee but it makes my face feel cool and clean love that stuff doesn’t seem to do much for dry skin tho.

Yeah, definitely use the night cream just at night. You should look for a good daytime moisturizer, preferably one with an SPF.

Another thing that I started doing about 3 years ago is sleeping on a silk pillowcase, because it's better for my facial skin, and my hair. A cotton pillowcase will absorb all the serums, oils, and moisturizers that I put on my face before bed. A silk pillowcase, however, will not absorb my skincare products.

          • I figured that was my problem. I just have the habit of putting moisturizer on each morning after my shower. I never thought of that I use cotton ones I definitely see how much it does absorb.

When I started using a silk pillowcase my face started to feel a lot softer in the morning.

I always use it, and I put it on my whole face, yet that part was the only part to swell and burn, the bit with dry skin
