Is it normal I think there is too many trolls lately.

    I quickly got tired of the know-it-all who hates -ists and -isms. One time I saw someone comment ":o" on every post which was kinda funny. So was the post about hiding little gnome figures in cupboards!

    Which sort of trolls are you referring to?

    There are some trolls who are quite funny (for example: dirtybirdy and her bird-like comments) and some trolls who are just stupid, or angry and antagonistic.

    There are also several users who are familiar with each other and like to get creative with their banter on posts.

    Personally, I don't mind the good-natured trolls. :D

      Huh, I've never considered dirtybirdy to be a troll. I think my definition of troll is a bit different to other people's.

      And I agree, funny, good-natured trolls are great. I don't like twat trolls, though. Can't say I've noticed a massive amount of new ones recently.

      A troll is someone who says things to interrupt a discussion (go off topic), or makes comments intending to provoke an emotional response out of people, or tries to get in an argument with someone and continue it as long as possible to take up someone's time and energy. I'd consider dirtybirdy more of a role player.

        I don't actually consider birdy a troll myself; in my comment I meant that she may appear that way to others.

    I haven't been on here as often so I wouldn't know but trolls don't seem to stick around on this site all that long. I think they get bored quickly. Most people here are willing to respond to them.
