Is it normal, i twirl my hair in my ear.

Ever since I was able, I have twirled hair in my ear, I get a small section, probably 20 strands similar length, and I position the hair a particular way in my hand and push it into my ear. It relaxes me, calms me down and I do it to get myself to sleep. I also sucked my thumb until I was 8.
Anyone else do this?

    i prefer q-tips myself.

    i mean... i don't want earwax on my hair. bleh.

    also, i like letting a thin stream of shower water hitting inside my ear as well, although i haven't done this for a while.
