Is it normal i want to kill anti mandate protestors?

In new Zealand right now, the Omicron cases are spiking up. I thought my country would know better by now by coming together as a country and fighting against this virus, but In Wellington NZ right now there is a huge protest against covid mandates and it's starting to piss me off.

There are people who are vunerable to this deadly virus and those assholes are trying to take something away that can prevent the spread of the disease. If anything happens to this country as a result of the protests then it's going to be their fault..not the prime minister's..

And at this point I just I could kill them all for trying to cause problems to society..I literally want them dead..if covid can't take them out, then I will..

Is this feeling I have normal or am I a Karen...

It's normal to get frustrated, but wanting to kill some ordinary people to save other ordinary people is kind of wack. They've got families, interests, frustrations and life goals too, just like you.

And so do the rest of the people, yet they're trying to get rid of something that can help with covid, which if the mandate goes away, people or their FAMILIES can be affected by this virus. These people don't give a shit about other people's families, so why should anyone give a shit about THEIR families?

You dont care about ppls families because you drive a car. You getting in a car risks the lives of others on the road. So you're selfish for driving. YOU COULD KILL SOMEONE. I actually care about people I dont drive unless I have to.

I also carry a fire extinguisher with me everywhere incase I spontaneously combust because thats PROVEN to happen. So Im a better person than you.

Same for me. I don't drive a car unless I really have to. Most people drive a car. I guess you're better than them too. Nice try.

A- The ordinary cloth masks have been shown to be ineffective against Omicron.
B- If you have mask mandates & the cases are spiking there is the proof.
C- Unless New Zealand decides to permanently cut itself off from the rest of the world you will not stamp out the virus.

Since the vaccinated are spreading the virus and creating new vaccine-resistant variants, you might want to start with yourself when considering violence on those responsible. Or just turn off the TV.

Its not okay to want to limit free speech, especially with violence. Thats not a matter of which side you're on.

I was for the restrictions in the beginning (for more than a year), but think they have honestly gone on for too long and the world needs and should to go back to normal at some point. People fear that this normality will never come unless they protest for it, and at this point its understandable. Its pros versus cons and you simply cannot eliminate all dangers from life. As a temporary crisis measure it was okay. When it could become the permanent way of life it no longer is. In addition it becomes less needed because omicron is less severe and send fewer people to hospital. I dont know the exact situation in your country, but where I live (Norway) almost everyone has taken at least two and often 3 doses of vaccines, and will therefore get less sick and hospitals wont get overwhelmed by those who do. So the restrictions are nowhere near as needed as they were in the beginning.

Ignorant people like you are part of the problem. Your ignorance and stupidity is the main reason the virus is still here. Things could have gone back to normal, but it won't because your kind wants to pretend like the virus doesn't exist, and want to ignore the restrictions. Don't complain that things won't go back to normal when it's your fault that this virus won't go away.

I have never thought or pretended the virus doesn't exist. Although I have cared less very recently, but my country has also mostly opened back up, and it was time. I did actually wear mask, keep physical distance to people (even including people in my own life), get the vaccine (3 times even) etc. Im not one of those people who never took is seriously (and I admit those people held back the progress unnecesary), but there is limit to how long it should go on.

As well as it being less needed when both most people are vaccinated and the new version of the virus is less severe. The virus itself has probably come to stay, we just cannot (or at least really should not)keep the whole society in lock-down forever, people need to interact for both practical and social reasons. And should live with a minimum of freedom. The economy needs to recover as well. And we never get got rid of the common cold... Not all diseases will just go away

        Comment Hidden ( show )
          -
        • Wow3986

Yes, we do need to keep everything on lock down if we want the virus to go away and for safety reasons. Like I said, the reason why this isn't going away and people keep getting sick is because ignorant people like you are not taking this seriously. Not only that, y'all are worried about the wrong thing. Economy, interaction (as if you can't survive without any human interaction), desperation for things to go back to normal (even though you're the reason why covid isn't going away), and your freedom. If y'all would just only go out when you need to, wear a mask, and limit interaction, this would go away. Jesus, who knew a virus would prove how ignorant and stupid society really is. By the way, don't even try to use the vaccine as your argument for why you continue to be a dumbass.

          • Sanara

I was among the people who took it seriously for well over a year. And those strict regulations have already been tried without ever eliminating the virus completely. Most people nowadays are vaccinated (therefore get less sick and hospitals dont get overwhelmed) and the new version is less severe. Minimizing contact to when it's absolutely needed doesn't actually make it go away because people still need contact for certain things like going to the grocery store and certain jobs. And can infect each other there. And ever thought about what if other animals also can get infected? That could make it stay permanently. They did have to kill a lot of mink in Denmark for that reason...

And yes actual quality of life across the majority of population IS important on its own, especially when it takes such long time. So is economy, poverty is a serious problem for those affected and can even keep people from having basic needs met. Freedom is important in the long run, I dont want to live in a permanent dystopia... If quality of life isn't maintained many people may even find out they dont want to live anymore. Or even worse, not caring to make humanity as a whole live on.

Diseases will always exist and we need to learn (again) to live normal lives with them

You're so ignorant, it's not even funny. First of all, people who are vaccinated do not get "less sick". Thanks for proving even further how ignorant you really are. Second of all, That isn't my point. My point is people need to take Covid more seriously because people treating this like it's no big deal is the reason why it hasn't gone away and restrictions are needed. What you're talking about is irrelevant. Third of all, less severe? People are still getting severely sick and even dying. Sounds pretty severe to me. Also, it has only been a very small percentage of animals that have gotten infected, which is when this mess first started. It is mainly affecting humans. What's your point?

Jesus, how dense are you? Having to wear a mask, going out only when you need to, and social distancing is not limiting your "freedom". You're a bigger idiot than I thought. What's important is not getting infected, or infecting others. At least I thought that was what was important, but apparently not, since people like you seemingly care so little about you or the people around you. Hmmm, sounds pretty selfish to me. Odd that you don't even care about your own health. Also, if people want to kill themselves over a mandate, who's fault is that? Theirs. Plus, if they don't follow the CDC guidelines, they're going to die anyways. Also, don't even act like the population matters to you, because if the population did, you'd follow the CDC guidelines. And sorry to break it to you, but humanity won't live on if you idiots keep going against the mandate. Humanity is actually going to be the cause of humanity dying out. But like I said, it doesn't matter to you anyways, so I don't even know why you're bringing that up.

In the USA the number one demographic that doesnt get vaccinated is black people. It would be fitting for the liberals who claim to be sooo not racist to go through the black neighborhoods genociding them. The surviving few blacks would probably still vote for the libs on the next election too.

You do realize that while you are scared to go outside that the world can not auctully function on lockdown for 2 plus years right? Your irrational fear and the fear sweeping the public is what created this mess. Stop being an idiot and realize the world does not revolve around your irrational phobias. Like it or not economys function on trade, business and money. We still need people to grow the food, sluaghter the meat, be cashiers at the super market. The fact you want to hide in your house for 2 years is cute but not everyone can afford it. Some of us have bills to pay, rent to pay, children to feed but of course you would rather these people starve in the streets right? You inconsiderate piece of shit. People like you deserve to die from covid for not giving a fuck about anyone elses well being. Now go jump off a cliff so the rest of us essential workers can keep the world running while you bitch like a little five year old. You worthless ungrateful, inconsiderate little bitch. Your parents made a mistake giving birth to you. You should apoligize for wasting thier time raising you. Guess who didnt get to go home and hide during the pandemic? The essential workers! The people working minumum wage jobs to feed your pansy asses. Guess who didnt bitch when people commited suicide, and quit and decided to give up on the community? The people working! Unlike you, you lazy sack of shit!

It's just another flu. Let it run its course. If you are vaccinated why should you care about other people. If they don't want to get the shot, that is their choice. There will be different variants of this thing going on ad nauseum. And no vaccine will ever protect you from everything. Have you had your vaccine for AIDS, HPV, HIV, HEP-A, HEP-C, Polio, Measles, Mumps, Smallpox, Whooping Cough, Rabies, Shingles, TB etc etc yet?
