Is it normal i want to punch my "depressed" friend in the face?

Allright first things first SHE IS NOT DEPRESSED she says she is because her dad won't buy her a new phone or her mum won't renovate her room.
In fact she's got one of the best lives I've seen from my school friends, She has a beautiful family and she has a beautiful house.
I just don't understand this, why would you say shit like that if you're just having a sook about stupid shit.
I've seen what depression looks like, My mum was going through a serious depression phase, she was pretty much bed ridden and always looked so glum and barely spoke at all (She is not elderly) I took her to the hospital multiple times so she can have mental check ups too, she went to see a therapist multiple times a month as well.
This girl isn't sad she laughs at everything and has so much fun all the time she is always happy unless things don't go her way and it seriously makes me want to punch her in the face.

Am I normal for wanting to do so?

Seems like a shitty person that should have no friends.

Yeah punch her in front of everyone and spill all her secrets while she cries with a broken nose. Give her something to be depressed about!

She probably isn't (just listening to her reasoning), but depression doesn't care about social status. It doesn't matter how pretty your are or how much money you have, you can be depressed. Also, laughter doesn't say much. You can put on a fake smile and go on, the problem is that you don't want to. The problem is that being with friends doesn't feel like anything anymore. The problem is that doing anything doesn't feel like anything anymore. That's what slowly holds you captive in bed. This is coming from someone with clinical depression.

I'm not chastising you, this chick is a brat, but I just want to make it clear. It would be bad if you met a new friend in a nice economic place that smiles a lot and automatically assume that they can't be depressed.

Honestly in my opinion, I wouldn't punch her in the face to avoid any assault charges.
But a Rotten Spoiled twat like her needs to get a punch in the face.
She obviously doesn't know the definition of depression, and with that' I'd agree you should give her something to be depressed about.
She seriously needs a change of attitude or she'll loose a whole lot of friends.

That is normal. People that are spoiled and have great lives often believe that they have the worst life when they are not as spoiled as they are used to being.
