Is it normal i wanted to preserve a boger?

About a week ago or so, I was blowing my nose.
I unravelled the paper to find nothing but a green jewel inside, shining brilliantly even in the dim light.
It was big. It had a great consistency. I've mentioned it looked good. I knew it would be a waste to dispose of it, so I folded up the paper and put it down, lest I would want to admire it or eat it at a later date.
Please note, this is not a troll post. Was it normal behaviour for me to do that?
