Is it normal? i woke up shaking with a dinging noise.

I woke up at 2:30 then I was shaking with dinging noise in my ear. It happened 3 times until about 4:00. Its the first time its ever happened and I obviously don't know what it is. (contacting doctor)

    When I get sleep paralysis it seems like there's a high pitched noise and I feel a slight vibration

    I think its just an ear infection. I had one when I was seven, I got ear drops and now its fine.
